JMC Family,

This year, as one of their community service projects, the National Junior Honor Society students will be sponsoring a toy drive for teens that are patients at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.

When I contacted the hospital they informed me that babies, toddlers and young children always receive the most from community sponsored toy drives but the pre-teens and teens don’t receive much.

Therefore, starting tomorrow, Tuesday, 11/27 – through Thursday, 12/13 we will be collecting new, unwrapped items, for the teens.  Below is a list of items to consider:

 Games: board games, card games, word games, puzzles, etc.

 Activity kits

 Teen coloring books with colored pencils

 Art supplies & any art kit

 Jewelry / bracelet making kits

 Architecture /engineering kits

 Tech-savvy knick knacks (headphones, etc.)

 Remote-control cars/planes/etc.

 Pro/local sport items

 Sports balls / small basketball hoops to hook on door

 Warm accessories, i.e. fuzzy socks, warm hats, cute scarves 
